Blackpool is a great place to date
If you want a first date with a bit of sparkle, Blackpool delivers. Grab a drink on Queen Street, the heart of the town's gay village, then catch a drag show at Funny Girls on Dickson Road. It's been making audiences howl since 1994.
Prefer something sweeter? Take a spin around the Tower Ballroom, ride to the top of the Tower for the view or hop on a tram and watch the sun go down over the Irish Sea. In autumn, a wander under the Illuminations is about as romantic as the North West gets.
Come June, Blackpool Pride turns the whole town into one big party. Perfect for a second date.
